In creating a website, it is important that you are making a website that does not look exactly the same from other templates. To do this, you need to consider placing distinguishable patterns on your templates. These patterns may be of designer notes written on the source code or you may place some signatures on the template. This way, you may distinguish which templates are your and which one is not. A distinguishable pattern is important if you ever make your own website because that is the only way to know if those templates of yours are truly yours or you just got it from other people.
Most designers would add special items on their templates just to know that their template is theirs. They would place codes inside the source codes depicting how a code works or how each code corresponds to each part of the page. That is off course the way they did it with a CSS template, in a flash template however, they made some alterations. The coding process can also be done when you make your own website so you can know that the template is truly yours.
Try placing your signature on the panel or the background, that way if your works of art would be taken, there would be distinguishable marks in them. To make your own website, you need to be original, since that is the only way for you to show how unique your website is and that no other people has made it but you yourself.
